Pedoman Penulis

Jurnal Jamu Kusuma adalah jurnal yang menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris, double blind peer-review, dan diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun.

 

Pedoman Penulisan Artikel Jurnal Jamu Kusuma
Artikel yang dikirim harus sesuai dengan ketentuan umum sebagai berikut:
1. Artikel belum pernah diterbitkan pada jurnal lain, dan atau tidak sedang dalam proses penerbitan oleh Jurnal lain.
2. Artikel dapat berupa artikel berbahasa Indonesia maupun berbahasa Inggris.
3. File naskah dalam format Microsoft word.
4. Ukuran kertas A4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm).
5. Batas kiri-kanan atas-bawah masing-masing 2,5 cm.
6. Abstrak ditulis dengan 2 bahasa. Bahasa indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Abstrak ditulis dengan font Times New Roman, spasi 1, maksimal 250 kata. Dilengkapi dengan kata kunci maksimal 5 kata kunci.
7. Artikel ditulis dengan spasi 1, jenis font Times New Roman, ukuran font 12, kecuali jika dinyatakan lain.
8. Jumlah halaman setiap artikel maksimal adalah 15 halaman termasuk tabel dan gambar.
9. Isi tabel, judul tabel, keterangan tabel ditulis dengan font Times New Roman ukuran 10, spasi 1. Judul tabel center text. Jumlah tabel tidak lebih dari 6 tabel dalam setiap artikel.
10. Judul gambar (center text), dan keterangan gambar ditulis dengan font Times New Roman ukuran 10, spasi 1.
11. Artikel disertai dengan surat pernyataan persetujuan etika publikasi ilmiah yang ditandatangani oleh penulis (format terlampir).
12. Tabel, grafik dan gambar disisipkan dalam naskah, dengan resolusi minimal 300 dpi. Beri nomor dan keterangan yang jelas di atas tabel dan di bawah gambar/grafik.
13. Batas maksimal plagiasi 30%.
14. Literatur yang dicantumkan dalam daftar pustaka adalah yang benar-benar disitasi dan berasal dari sumber aslinya, sehingga tautan yang tertulis dalam daftar pustaka dapat ditelusur.
15. Daftar Pustaka ditulis dalam bentuk APA Style edisi 6, perhatikan contoh dibawah ini:

Author Fee (No Page Charge)
Journal of Jamu Kusuma is an open access journal. Since manuscript submission, authors shall not pay any processing and submission fees for article processing (free of charge), except for printed journal (shipping fee) and conference collaboration.

Guideline for Online Submission

Author should first register as Author and/or is offered as Reviewer through the following address: (LINK ONLINE SUBMISSION)

Author should fulfill the form as detailed as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form of textbox was filled, Author clicks on “Register” button to proceed the registration. Therefore, Author is brought to online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. In the Start of a New Submission section, click on “’Click Here’: to go to step one of the five-step submission process”. The following are five steps in online submission process:

  1. Step 1 - Starting the Submission: Select the appropriate section of journal, i.e. Original Research Articles or Systematic Review Article. Thus, the author must check-mark on the submission checklists. 
  2. Step 2 – Uploading the Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and choose the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) to be submitted, then click "Upload" button until the file has been uploaded.
  3. Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be filter out including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.
  4. Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button.
  5. Step 5 – Confirming the Submission:  Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to Journal of Jamu Kusuma, click Finish Submission button after the document is true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive a notification by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in the journal web address site.

 

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in the online submission page. The submission tracking includes the status of manuscript review and editorial process.

Submission Requirements

As a part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. That no conflict of interest of any financial support or any relationship or other, exists during the research project.
  2. Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
  3. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  4. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  5. Where available, URLs for the references should be provided.
  6. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  7. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
